NATIONAL HEADLINER: LEGACI
Jason Atencion, Micah Tolentino, Chris Abad, and Del Lazaro form what Northern California knows as Legaci—A four part harmony musical group that is living up to their name.

Founded in 1997, this version of Legaci continues the name that speaks exactly of their goal: To make beautiful, classic music that will inspire people for years to come. Their undying drive and passion for music is what keeps them going year after year.

Together they form a sound unlike any-other. With the soulful melodies of groups like Jodeci and Dru Hill, they compliment with harmonies much like Boyz II Men and Az Yet. What sets these gentlemen apart is that they are all Filipino-American in heritage. They are a new breed of American music, and await your audience. They believe they have something to offer America in terms of good music, and they're here to prove it.

They want to bring back the type of music that made you fall in love with listening to the radio growing up. 2009 CelebrAsian Entertainment welcomes Legaci to our lineup of performances as our National Headliners.

LOCAL TALENT: LARRY BERENGUEL, JR.
Larry Berenguel, Jr. is Des Moines, Iowa's very own Asian musical celebrity. His musical roots range from American folk, Southern Rock, Latin, R&B, Reggae, Catholic church music, traditional Tagalog Folk to Berenguel's own unique sound. Rooted here since the 70's, Larry has created quite a following, performing and hosting Open Mic Nights at many and various venues throughout Des Moines.

When he is not performing on his own or hosting Open Mic nights, he spreads his musical wings and continually plays with other various bands and musicians, including The Land Sharks, Homegrown, Reaching Perfect Balance, Matt Ranallo Band, Justin Peters aka Sunset Cowboy, and recently with the Vida Sisters.

Larry once again returns to CelebrAsian, and 2009's Entertainment is lucky to have him. Come see our very own local talent, Larry Berenguel, performing during the 2009 Fashion Show.
