Over the last six years, the CelebrAsian Asian Heritage Festival has been the largest and fastest growing Asian American event in the State of Iowa. It has grown from 10,000 attendees to over 40,000 drawing people from throughout and outside of Iowa making it one of Iowa's premier festivals annually. Organized and executed almost completely by volunteers, it is made possible through the generous support of individuals, businesses, non-profits and corporations. Help ensure the Festival remains a permanent, high-quality, free admission event in Iowa by making a contribution today!
BECOME A VENDOR OR NON-PROFIT EXHIBITOR
Sign-up today to be a vendor or non-profit exhibitor for the 7th Annual CelebrAsian: Asian Heritage Festival! This year's expected attendance is 45,000 - 50,000 people!! Register before March 15, 2009 and receive an early bird discount!
In order to qualify to be a vendor, you must satisfy one of the following two criteria:
1. Food/Drink Vendor: Primary Food or Drink being served must be Asian.
2. Non-Asian Related Non Food/Drink Vendor: Must be a business member of the Iowa Asian Alliance.
When registering, you may state your preference as to what Village you would like to be placed in (Vietnamese, Indian, Hmong etc.), however, we reserve the right to place you where necessary depending on availability.
The deadline to register for the 2009 CelebrAsian is April 17, 2009. Vendor fees are as follows:

VOLUNTEER
Join the team and the CelebrAsian..! Whether you would like to join one of our many planning committees or just show-up on the day of the Festival, we'd like to hear from you. To express your interest in becoming a volunteer, please follow the link below. Volunteers will be accepted on an ongoing and as needed basis. If we are unable to accommodate your interest this year, your information will be kept for future festivals and volunteer opportunities with the Iowa Asian Alliance.
REGISTER FOR THE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
A tradition at CelebrAsian, volleyball teams across the US come to compete for trophy and cash prizes of $1,000 (1st Place) and $500 (2nd Place) alongside several other festival activities.
The tournament will be played in double elimination format, abiding by past, non-NCAA rules, with all games being played to the best of three (winner two out of three advances). A list of rules will be distributed to team captains before the tournament. Fighting will not be tolerated. Teams and players caught fighting will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS. Teams that are registered are expected to show up and play; the tournament is open to amateur players only; no collegiate or ex-collegiate, pro or ex-pro players are allowed.
The registration fee is $100 per team and the deadline is May 15, 2009.
