Get involved! It is with the help of our volunteers that helps make CelebrAsian the high-quality and well-organized event that it is. You can be a part of our team!

Join one of our planning committees:
Fundraising/PR—Develops strategic promotional and marketing plan to increase attendance at CelebrAsian, and pursue all potential sponsors. Responsibilities include: develop advertising plan, coordinate interviews with all media across the state, draft press releases, work with media across the state to ensure coverage in all areas, and more!
Asian Affinities—Manages the Art Pavilion, Children's Activities tent, Dragon Boat races, Home and Garden, Martial Arts Village, and Sports Village. Responsibilities include: coordinating martial arts, sports, home and garden, diplomacy village, and children's activities schedules; recruiting sports teams, honored guests, and martial arts schools; collecting art work for art contest; and more!
Volunteer Outreach—Recruits and supervises volunteers. Responsibilities include: coordinating master volunteer schedule; assigning responsibilities to different groups of volunteers; and more!
Entertainment—Manages stage entertainment, coordinating the stage schedule, fashion show; recruiting headliners, and more!
Operations—Manages logistics of parking, clean-up and sanitation, security; and more!
Villages—Works with 12 villages to collect all necessary materials needed for the Festival

Volunteer to help on the day of CelebrAsian! Sample volunteer assignments include: set-up, operations, diplomats guide, cultural villages, entertainment, security, and tear down. Volunteering shifts are in 2 hour blocks and each volunteer receives a CelebrAsian T-shirt, an invitation to the volunteer appreciation party, and will be entered in a raffle to win prizes from Iowa's Asian communities.
